BP Jamsostek Strengthens K3 Culture and Workplace Mental Health to Boost Worker Productivity
BPJS Ketenagakerjaan continues to strengthen its commitment to building a healthy, safe, and productive work culture through activities themed ‘Preventive and Promotive Occupational Safety and Health (K3) to Increase Worker Productivity’ held on Thursday (20 May) at Plaza BPJamsostek, Jakarta.
The event featured the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia, Yassierli, as keynote speaker, and Vivi Viyati Yudha Hadijaya, Director of Operations and Expert Consultant at UI’s Institute of Applied Psychology, who discussed the importance of mental health in the modern workplace.
The programme was attended by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan leadership, the chief executive officer of subsidiary companies, and all branch heads nationwide, in hybrid form, as part of efforts to reinforce understanding of the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (K3), management of psychosocial risks, and strengthening a work culture that supports psychological safety.
Minister of Manpower Yassierli emphasised that the application of K3 is no longer merely an administrative obligation but has become a strategic investment to enhance competitiveness and organisational resilience.
“Up to now we have relied on data from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. Because the claims related to workplace accidents and PAK are here. The second: to increase the effectiveness of the promotional and preventive programmes. There is socialisation, there is joint training that we will develop based on the regional offices of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. Because every region has its own characteristics in the industrial risk map of that region,” said Yassierli.
Meanwhile, the President Director of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, Saiful Hidayat, said that BPJS Ketenagakerjaan not only focuses on social protection for workers, but also fosters the creation of a healthy and resilient work ecosystem.
