BP Fuel Station Lowers Diesel Price to Rp29,890 per Litre

Jakarta (ANTARA) - BP fuel stations have adjusted the price of fuel oil (BBM) for the diesel type or BP Ultimate Diesel, which has decreased from Rp30,890 per litre at the beginning of May to Rp29,890 per litre.

Quoted from the official Instagram page of BP Indonesia under the username bp_idn in Jakarta on Friday, the price adjustment applies only to the diesel fuel type.

Meanwhile, the price of BP Ultimate petrol remains at Rp12,930 per litre, as does the BP 92 fuel type at Rp12,390 per litre.

On the other hand, PT Pertamina (Persero) announced an update to fuel oil (BBM) prices for certain specific regions effective from 4 May, with non-subsidised diesel and Pertamax Turbo types experiencing increases, while Pertamax remains unchanged.

Based on Pertamina’s official website quoted from Jakarta on Monday (4/5), Pertamina has made adjustments to fuel oil (BBM) prices.

In the Jabodetabek area, for instance, the price of Pertamax Turbo (RON 98) BBM shows an increase to Rp19,900 per litre from Rp19,400 per litre in April.

The Pertamina Dex Series or diesel-type BBM in that region also experienced an increase. The price of Dexlite (CN 51) BBM rose to Rp26,000 per litre from Rp23,600 per litre in April.

Pertamina Dex (CN 53) also increased to Rp27,900 per litre from the previous Rp23,900 per litre.

Meanwhile, Pertamina is still holding the price of Pertamax (RON 92) at Rp12,300 per litre, as well as Pertamax Green (RON 95) at Rp12,900 per litre since March, precisely before the war between the United States (US)-Israel and Iran.

Assigned and subsidised BBM prices also did not change, namely Pertalite at Rp10,000 per litre and Biosolar at Rp6,800 per litre.
