BP Diesel Price Drops, Here's the Full Tank Cost for Fortuner and Pajero Sport

JAKARTA - BP Indonesia has just cut the price of BP Ultimate Diesel fuel, from the previous Rp 30,890 to Rp 29,890 per litre starting 8 May 2026. This means that for owners of the Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport who refuel their vehicles with BP Ultimate Diesel, the costs will automatically adjust. With this latest adjustment, diesel vehicle users can now save slightly on operational expenses, especially for cars with large fuel tank capacities. The figure is lower compared to the previous amount of around Rp 2,471,200 when fuel prices were still Rp 30,890 per litre. Meanwhile, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, equipped with a 68-litre fuel tank, requires about Rp 2,032,520 for a full fill-up. Although its tank capacity is smaller than the Fortuner’s, the cost to fill up the Pajero Sport still exceeds Rp 2 million when using high-quality diesel fuel. Using low-quality fuel in modern diesel engines risks carbon buildup and injector clogging. Therefore, some diesel SUV owners still choose to use non-subsidised fuel despite its much higher price.
