BP BUMN and Danantara are accelerating the streamlining of Telkom Group by reducing its 67 subsidiaries to 19 entities by end-2026 to strengthen its role as a national digital strategic holding.

Dony Oskaria, Head of BP BUMN and COO of Danantara, said the transformation is crucial to sharpen business focus and ensure Telkom Group operates more agilely to meet the needs of the national digital ecosystem.

Dony met with Telkom Indonesia’s Director of Strategic Business Development & Portfolio, Seno Soemadji, at Danantara House in Jakarta on Monday to discuss the progress of streamlining and business transformation.

During the meeting, Telkom outlined strategic steps underway, including mergers, divestments, liquidations, business consolidations, and the establishment of new enterprise holdings. These measures aim to strengthen digital business and national telecommunications infrastructure amid a more competitive industry landscape.

Dony stressed that Telkom Group’s transformation and streamlining are key to enhancing business focus and competitiveness in the rapidly evolving digital sector.

As part of this agenda, priority programmes such as the consolidation of FiberCo SOEs, data centre development, TowerCo, InfraCo, and Telkom Group’s license restructuring are being expedited to support the shift towards a more adaptable and globally competitive digital strategic holding.

Through this transformation, BP BUMN and Danantara are pushing for improved governance, asset optimisation, and consolidation of the national digital ecosystem to ensure state-owned enterprises become more agile, financially sound, and a driving force for Indonesia’s digital economy.
