BP BUMN Strengthens Governance of Public Housing Programme Implementation

The Supervisory Board for State-Owned Enterprises (BP BUMN) and Danantara are continuing to strengthen the governance of the public housing programme to ensure all processes run transparently, accountably, and on target. “We fully support this programme. The key is ensuring all parties move together so the programme can run faster, more accountably, and truly answer the needs of the community,” said Head of BP BUMN Dony Oskaria in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday. According to him, strengthening the governance of the public housing programme is part of the government’s effort to ensure priority programmes deliver real impact for the community. On 22 June 2026, Head of BP BUMN and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, attended a meeting at the Finance and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) building with BPKP Head Muhammad Yusuf Ateh. Dony said the meeting discussed strengthening governance, supervisory assistance, and accelerating cross-ministerial and institutional coordination to support the implementation of the public housing programme. This synergy is directed at ensuring every stage proceeds according to regulations, has strong legal certainty, and upholds the principles of transparency and accountability. He stated that strong supervisory support is a crucial factor in maintaining the effectiveness of programme implementation while increasing public trust in various strategic government programmes. Dony expressed full support for the programme and emphasised the importance of cross-party collaboration in its execution. Through this strengthened synergy, the government hopes to continue accelerating the provision of decent and affordable housing while expanding access to home ownership for the public. “This programme is also expected to improve the quality of life for the community and encourage equitable welfare across various regions of Indonesia,” he said.
