BP BUMN and Danantara Support Waskita to Strengthen Toll Road Business Focus
The Head of BP BUMN and COO of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, stated that the restructuring of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk is directed not merely at extending the deadline for settling obligations or postponing existing problems, but at building a healthier and more sustainable business foundation. He conveyed this during a meeting with the Board of Directors of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk. “The company’s recovery process must be structured based on realistic, measurable, and accountable calculations, thereby producing a permanent solution that strengthens the company’s ability to meet its obligations while creating long-term value,” Dony said in a written statement in Jakarta, Saturday (18/7/2026). Dony stated that the discussions covered asset valuation, debt repayment structure and capacity, cash flow projections, and the determination of the most appropriate business model to support business sustainability. Dony conveyed that one of the directions being encouraged is to strengthen Waskita’s focus on the toll road business. “With business characteristics that provide long-term income, toll road management is considered to have strong prospects as the foundation of the company’s business,” Dony said.
