BP BUMN and Danantara Strengthen State Asset Management to Support Indonesia's Economic Fundamentals

BP BUMN chief, Dony Oskaria, affirmed that his organisation, together with Danantara, will continue to strengthen the management of state assets through integrated governance, disciplined investment strategies, and professional portfolio management to strengthen Indonesia’s economic fundamentals.

Dony, who is also the COO of Danantara, emphasised that SOEs must ensure that every asset and capital they manage can function optimally.

“To create sustainable added value for the country and society,” said Dony in a statement on Friday, 15 May 2026.

The management of state assets is expected to provide greater added value for the national economy. The realisation of Danantara’s profits shows that the transformation of state asset management is starting to produce tangible results, he said.

Danantara is optimising its asset portfolio through a measured, innovative, and risk-based investment approach. This step encourages increased returns and strengthens SOEs’ contribution to state revenue.

“SOEs need to maintain profitability by strengthening governance and improving operational effectiveness,” he said.

BP BUMN and Danantara are also encouraging SOEs to apply the principles of effectiveness and efficiency in every line of operation.

This focus includes not only cost control, but also accuracy in allocating assets, understanding global market dynamics, utilising technology, and strengthening risk mitigation in every investment decision.
