BP BUMN and Danantara Closely Oversee PT Pos Indonesia Transformation
BP BUMN and Danantara are carrying out routine monitoring as part of efforts to oversee the transformation process of PT Pos Indonesia so that it proceeds according to the targets that have been set.
“The most important thing now is to fix the governance. There must be no financial engineering. All processes must be carried out properly,” said Danantara COO and Head of BP BUMN Dony Oskaria in an official statement confirmed by ANTARA in Jakarta on Thursday.
Dony stressed that improving governance is the main foundation for building a healthy and sustainable company.
He also reminded that the entire transformation process must be carried out while upholding the principles of transparency and accountability.
In addition to strengthening governance, the Board of Directors of PT Pos Indonesia was also asked to continue maintaining organisational solidarity and building good communication with all employees so that the transformation process can run effectively and gain support from everyone in the company.
Danantara together with BP BUMN will continue to monitor the implementation of PT Pos Indonesia’s transformation as part of efforts to ensure the company moves in a healthier, more professional and sustainable direction.
Through strengthening governance, transparency and organisational solidarity, PT Pos Indonesia is expected to be able to improve its performance again and strengthen its role as a national company that is a source of pride for Indonesia.
Previously, Dony said that PT Pos Indonesia reported audit results in the form of bookkeeping adjustments for the 2023, 2024 and 2025 periods amounting to Rp9 trillion as part of the process of cleaning up and restoring the company’s financial records.
Therefore, Dony stressed that the transformation being carried out must be taken seriously and must get to the root of the company’s problems.
One of the initiatives emphasised is conducting a thorough review of the revenue structure, cost components, and the implementation of a more appropriate and sustainable business model through intercompany involvement to accelerate the reduction of the company’s debt.
Dony stressed that all improvement measures must be oriented towards strengthening business fundamentals and have measurable targets so that they can be consistently monitored.
