Boyolali Sub-District Head Who Sent Lewd Video to Former Employee Receives Reprimand

A sub-district head (Camat) in Boyolali Regency who was reported for sending an indecent video to a former employee has received a sanction from the regent. The sanction is in the form of a reprimand and a warning. “It has been done,” said Boyolali Regional Secretary M. Syawalludin on Wednesday (8/7/2026). “In principle, a reprimand and a warning have been given,” he added. Syawalludin previously stated that the Boyolali Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) had summoned the sub-district head for clarification. Clarification was also sought from the victim. Based on the results of the BKPSDM clarification, the sub-district head stated that the indecent video was sent unintentionally, or was a wrong send, to the complainant’s mobile phone. The complainant was formerly an employee at the sub-district head’s business and had since resigned.
