Boyolali Sub-District Head Reported for Sending Explicit Video to Former Employee

A District Head in Boyolali Regency has been reported to the Regent of Boyolali for sending obscene videos to a former employee.

Citing Detik, the District Head has now received sanctions from the Regent in the form of a reprimand and a warning. “It has been handled,” said the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Boyolali, M. Syawalludin, on Wednesday (8/7). “In principle, a reprimand and warning have been issued.”

Syawalludin stated that the Boyolali Agency for Personnel and Human Resources Development (BKPSDM) had summoned the District Head for clarification. Clarification was also sought from the victim.

Based on the results of the BKPSDM clarification, the District Head claimed that the indecent video was sent accidentally or was a misdelivery to the complainant’s mobile phone. The complainant was previously an employee at a business owned by the District Head, from which she had since resigned.

“The complainant has also been summoned for clarification. Regarding the reported party, the District Head stated it was a misdelivery,” said Syahwalludin.

Meanwhile, according to the testimony of the former employee, identified by the initial A, she received the inappropriate video after she had resigned from her job. During the afternoon, she received two 9-second clips of indecent content from the reported party.

“Initially, I worked at a bakery, and he was one of the investors,” said the complainant, A, to journalists on Monday (6/7).

A stated that she received the indecent videos on 30 March 2026. Two videos were sent on the same day at the same time, specifically at 11:58 WIB. The content of both videos was identical.

“Suddenly, he sent the video twice, in the afternoon around 11:00 to 12:00 WIB. I opened the video, and it turned out to be a pornographic video of himself,” she explained.

A was shocked by the receipt of the video. She waited for a follow-up message, assuming it might have been a mistake. However, after waiting until nightfall without any further communication, she decided to block his number.

“I felt deeply demeaned. I waited for him to chat again, thinking if it was a mistake, he would confirm it. But he didn’t message again until night. So, that night, I blocked his number,” she explained. “I felt very harassed. There is also a significant age difference between us.”

The incident was subsequently reported to her family. As a result of the event, A reported feeling traumatised. The case was eventually reported to the Regent of Boyolali in April.

The complainant stated she had been summoned by the Boyolali BKPSDM and brought together with the reported party for mediation.

“I met him directly, and he claimed it was a misdelivery—that he intended to send it to his wife,” she added.

The reported party admitted to the misdelivery after the case was brought to the Regent through the relevant department. A also claimed that she had previously been threatened and pressured to apologise.

“Previously, he even threatened me and told me to apologise to him. He claimed I was badmouthing him regarding salaries, which is not true. I have never badmouthed him,” she said.
