Boyolali Sub-District Head Reported for Sending Explicit Video to Former Employee

A sub-district head in Boyolali has been reported to the district head for sending an explicit video to a former employee. The official has since received a sanction in the form of a reprimand and a warning. “It has been done,” said Boyolali Regional Secretary M. Syawalludin on Wednesday (8/7). “In principle, a reprimand and a warning have been given,” he added. Syawalludin stated that the Boyolali Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) had summoned the sub-district head for clarification. The victim was also questioned. Based on the BKPSDM’s findings, the sub-district head claimed the indecent video was sent to the complainant’s mobile phone unintentionally or by mistake. The complainant is a former employee of a business owned by the sub-district head and had since resigned. “The complainant was also summoned for clarification. The reported party, the sub-district head, said it was a wrong send,” Syawalludin explained. According to the former employee, identified by the initial A, she received the inappropriate video after she had resigned from her job. She received the roughly nine-second indecent video twice during the afternoon. “Initially, I worked at a bakery where his father was one of the investors,” A told reporters on Monday (6/7). A stated she received the video on 30 March 2026. The two identical videos were sent at the same time, around 11:58 WIB. “Suddenly he sent me a video twice, around noon. When I opened it, it turned out to be a video of himself, a pornographic video,” she revealed. A was shocked upon receiving the video. She waited for a follow-up message in case it was a mistake, but no further chat came by nightfall. “I felt degraded. I waited for him to chat again. If it was a wrong send, he should have confirmed or something. But he didn’t chat again until night, so I blocked his number,” she explained. “I felt deeply harassed. There is also a significant age difference,” she added. The incident was subsequently reported to her family. A admitted she was traumatised by the event, leading to the case being reported to the Boyolali District Head in April. The complainant confirmed she was summoned by the BKPSDM and met with the reported official for mediation. “I met him directly, and he said it was a wrong send. He meant to send it to his wife,” she said. The official only admitted the mistake after the case was reported to the District Head through the relevant agency. A claimed that prior to this, she was actually threatened and asked to apologise. “Before that, he actually threatened me. He told me to apologise to him. He said I badmouthed him about salary issues, which I never did,” she stated.
