ADRO, the listed company owned by conglomerate Boy Thohir, plans to conduct a share buyback of up to 4 trillion rupiah through the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on a phased basis within a maximum period of 12 months from the date shareholder approval is obtained.

According to ADRO management in a public disclosure on Thursday 12 March 2026, the share buyback programme will be subject to approval at the company’s annual general meeting of shareholders (RUPST) scheduled for 17 April 2026. Should the buyback agenda be approved, the programme will commence from 20 April 2026.

The company previously conducted a share buyback between 16 May 2025 and 2 June 2025 during conditions of significant market volatility, in accordance with Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 13 of 2023 concerning policies to maintain capital market performance and stability during periods of significant market fluctuation. During this period, ADRO repurchased 33 million shares, representing 0.11% of the company’s total issued and paid-up capital.
