Boy Named 'Ulil Presisi' Captures Attention of West Java Police Chief in Indramayu

There was a warm scene at the Panen Raya Ketahanan Pangan, a National Food Security Harvest event, in Indramayu, West Java, on Saturday, 16 May 2026. Among officials and farmers, a three-year-old boy named Ulil Albab Presisi—also known as Ulil Presisi—drew attention. Ulil had previously gone viral on Polisi Sahabat Anak (Polsanak), a programme run by the Satlantas of Bogor City Police. This time he charmed attendees as he played at the event led by West Java Police Chief Irjen Rudi Setiawan.

The boy’s name comes from the Chief of Police’s ‘PRESISI’ programme (Prediktif, Responsibilitas, Transparansi, Berkeadilan). He appeared completely at ease when approached by the two-star general. Ulil’s presence warmed the atmosphere. Rudi Setiawan squatted to speak to him and asked a few questions. The boy answered each query confidently. ‘What is your name?’ Rudi asked warmly. ‘Ulil Presisi,’ he replied succinctly. When asked his age, Ulil cheerfully said he is three years old. The moment that triggered laughter among the senior Polda West Java officials and the attendees came when Irjen Rudi asked what he would like to be when he grows up. ‘A police officer!’ Ulil replied with innocent clarity, prompting applause and light laughter from the crowd. After the brief, endearing Q&A, Ulil had a special opportunity to take a photo with the West Java Police Chief. In front of the camera, Ulil posed with playful, childlike gestures beside Irjen Rudi Setiawan. The head of the West Java Regional Police then offered his best wishes for Ulil’s future, hoping he remains dutiful and can realise his dreams. ‘As the name Presisi suggests and in line with his parents’ hopes, may Ulil succeed in achieving what he aspires to.
