Boy in Serang Sexually Abused by Stepfather for Six Years, Forced to Watch Pornography

A stepfather with the initials MMQ (32) sexually abused a 13-year-old child for six years in Serang City, Banten. The perpetrator also forced the victim to watch pornographic films before committing the abuse.

‘Before carrying out his actions, the perpetrator often forced the victim to watch pornographic films on a mobile phone,’ said the Director of General Criminal Investigation at the Banten Regional Police, Senior Commissioner Dian Setyawan, on Saturday (4/7/2026).

Afterwards, the perpetrator forced the victim to satisfy his lust. The victim was forced by the perpetrator to perform oral sex.

Police have also secured a number of pieces of evidence, including the mobile phone used by the perpetrator to play pornographic films and to threaten the victim.

‘Currently, the perpetrator along with the evidence has been detained to undergo the examination process,’ he said.

It is understood that the depraved acts took place at the victim’s home in Cipocok Jaya, Serang City. The case came to light after the victim could no longer endure the stepfather’s treatment and bravely reported it to his biological mother.

‘It was carried out over a period of approximately six years, from when the victim was in the third grade of primary school in 2019 until he advanced to the second year of junior high school in 2026,’ said Dian.

The victim’s mother reported the case to the Banten Regional Police on Friday (26/6/2026). The report was followed up by the Sub-Directorate for Women and Children of the Banten Police General Criminal Investigation Directorate, led by AKBP Irene Missy.

Following an investigation, officers managed to arrest MMQ, who works as a casual labourer, at his parents’ house in Banjarsari Village, Cipocok Jaya District, on Monday (29/6).
