Boxers to fight in King's Cup

JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian Amateur Boxing Association
(Pertina) will send seven boxers to the King's Cup in Bangkok
from July 1 to July 7 as part of the selection process for a
training stint in Havana starting on July 15.

The seven are light flyweight Bonix Saweho, flyweight Melky
Lelemboto, lightweight David Isikiwar, welterweight Stevi
Binalay, welterweight Bara Gommies, light middleweight Joko
Suryono and middleweight Wahyu Syarif Hidayat.

Pertina's Southeast Asian Games project manager, Ignatius
Mulyono, was quoted as saying by Antara on Wednesday, "There are
only three spots available (for Cuba) as middleweight Hendrik
Simangunsong light heavyweight Albert Papilaya automatically join
the training in Cuba." (nvn)
