Bowling champ to arrive here

JAKARTA (JP): Last year's world champion Tore Torgersen of
Sweden will be among world bowlers taking part in the 11th
Indocement Cup bowling championships in the Ancol bowling center,
North Jakarta, from May 24 to June 3.

Another Swedish champion to participate in the Rp 90 million
(US$40,358) championships is Tom Hahl, the 1990 world champion.
Hendro Pratono, silver medalist in the men's open master event at
last year's Asian Games in Hiroshima and Indonesia's most senior
bowler, will also take part in the annual open championships.

Events to be contested in the individual championships include
men's and women's graded master, doubles relay, junior male and
female events, single, double and trio events. In addition to
Sweden, other participating countries include Australia,
Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines and Malaysia. (arf)
