Bowling center set up in Bandung

BANDUNG (JP): West Java's first bowling center with 18 lanes and of an international standard has been opened in Bandung.

The Dago Bowling Center is located on Jl. Ir. Juanda. It was opened by West Java Deputy Governor Dedem on Friday.

Dago Bowling Center's manager Afwan said on Friday that they planned to hold both national and international bowling tournaments.

"What is special about the bowling center is that the atmosphere is like Cosmic Bowling, where there are several different lighting settings. We will provide bowling coaches to train or guide newcomers who are not familiar with bowling," Afwan said.

The Dago Bowling Center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., with a fee of Rp 18,000 per game and shoe rental of Rp 5,000 per pair.

Afwan said that members will receive a 50 percent on the Rp 18,000 fee. "For the time being, we have limited membership to only 150 members, be they individual or companies." (25)
