Bouraq resumes S'pore flight
SINGAPORE (AFP): Indonesia's Bouraq Airlines resumed operations in Singapore Monday following an 18-month lay off due to the region's financial crisis, said the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS).
It said the airline will offer daily flights between Singapore and Surabaya, East Java.
"The re-establishment of Bouraq Airlines' services to Singapore will further enhance our air links to Surabaya and to the other parts of Indonesia," said Colonel Looi Han Seng, director of air transport at CAAS.
