RealEstat.id (Jakarta) – Bosch has reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining business growth by strengthening its global strategy with a focus on innovation in fiscal year 2026.

This strategy impacts not only the industrial and automotive sectors but also opens new opportunities for the property and infrastructure ecosystem in Indonesia.

In fiscal year 2025, Bosch allocated approximately €12 billion for research and development (R&D) as well as capital expenditure.

This step forms the foundation for the target of 2%-5% sales growth and an operational EBIT margin of 4%-6% in 2026.

Chairman of the Board of Management at Bosch, Stefan Hartung, emphasised that automation, digitalisation, electrification, and artificial intelligence (AI) are the main pillars of growth.

“We are committed to pioneering trends in automation, digitalisation, electrification, and artificial intelligence, as these pave the way for profitable business growth,” said Stefan in a press statement on Saturday (02/05/2026).

Throughout 2025, Bosch also registered around 6,300 patents, reinforcing its position as one of the world’s most innovative industrial companies.

In terms of performance, Bosch recorded revenue of €91 billion in 2025, an increase from the previous year.

Although the operational margin declined to 2% due to structural adjustments, this is viewed as a long-term strategy to maintain global competitiveness.

Indonesia is one of Bosch’s strategic markets in driving industrial transformation and mobility.

Through technologies such as Electronic Control Units (ECU) and Battery Management Systems (BMS), Bosch supports the development of more efficient and electrified integrated systems.

Managing Director of Bosch Indonesia, Pirmin Riegger, added that the company recorded double-digit growth in several business lines.

This is supported by strengthening service and distribution networks, including the expansion of Bosch Car Service through a partnership with PT XMotors International Group.

By 2025, Bosch has operated 20 workshops and 32 sales and service points for automotive batteries in Indonesia.

This expansion directly impacts the need for commercial spaces, logistics warehouses, and increasingly developing industrial zones.

In the retail and residential sectors, Bosch has also introduced eight Home Experience Centres as well as the Power Tools Blue Store concept.

The presence of these facilities strengthens experiential retail, which is now a trend in modern property development.

Bosch Global Strategy 2030

Through its 2030 Strategy, Bosch aims to secure a position among the top three suppliers in its major markets.

Focus on product differentiation and regional adaptation is key to addressing global price pressures.

Bosch’s global strategy also contributes to the increasing need for high-tech industrial facilities, research centres, and supporting infrastructure in the property and industrial estate sectors.

Innovations such as the BMI5 sensor platform open up significant opportunities in robotics and automation, including for smart building and construction industry applications.

In the consumer sector, AI technology innovations in household appliances and power tools also drive demand for premium products.

This trend has the potential to increase the value of residential properties that adopt smart home technology.
