Border Security Task Force Installs Electrical Wiring at Ninambua Resident's Home
Wamena (ANTARA) — The Yonif 511/DY Border Security Task Force (Satgas Pamtas) has installed electrical wiring at a resident’s home in Ninambua Village, Tiom District, Lanny Jaya Regency, Papua Pegunungan.
Communications Platoon Commander of Satgas Pamtas Yonif 511/DY, Second Lieutenant Ferry Primayudha, said in a written statement in Wamena on Monday that the electrical installation was carried out to assist residents in Ninambua Village who lack access to lighting.
“This is a form of TNI support through social service activities for residents in our area of assignment, so they can have proper access to lighting,” he said.
According to him, the electrical wiring was installed at the home of Yudisena Kogoya (55) to provide illumination so that he could carry out activities at night.
“The electrical installation assistance originated from routine social communication activities of Satgas Yonif 511/DY in the Tiom District area. There were still residents in Ninambua Village whose homes had electricity problems, so we helped install the electrical supply,” he said.
He expressed hope that the community would not hesitate to visit military posts to report any difficulties they face, so that solutions can be found together.
“We have emphasised to all posts under our command to always be present and assist residents in their areas of responsibility by providing the best service, whilst maintaining security as a priority,” he said.
Meanwhile, Kogoya expressed his gratitude to the TNI members at the Yonif 511/DY Task Force post for their assistance with the electrical installation, which enables him to carry out activities at night without being hampered by lighting problems.
“Thank you to the TNI officers for repairing the electricity so that my family and I can have lighting and carry out activities at night,” he said.
