The Governor of Lampung, Rahmat Mirzani Djausal, is continuously striving to improve the quality of human resources through the strengthening of educational unit standards. This initiative is expected to produce a greater number of high-quality individuals from Lampung Province.

The Governor also expressed his appreciation for the achievements of several schools in Lampung that have demonstrated extraordinary performance. Notable examples include high graduation rates for admission to State Universities (PTN) and successful integration into the international workforce.

These remarks were made following his directions during the Programme and Performance Evaluation and the 2027 Strategic Plan for State SMA/SMK/SLB educational levels across Lampung Province, held recently at the Soeltan Luxe Hotel.

“Alhamdulillah, several of our schools are highly accomplished; one even achieved a 100% admission rate to state universities. Another reached 99%, with the single exception being a student working in Korea. I believe this will define the future direction of education in Lampung,” Rahmat stated in a written release on Monday (8/6/2026).

He emphasised the importance of a shared vision among all school principals to make state university admission a primary focus. The Lampung Provincial Government recognises that the acceleration of regional development in the future relies heavily on superior human resource quality.

“We must ensure all principals focus on guiding their students towards entering state universities. We are very aware that for the future progress of Lampung Province, an increase in the quality of human resources is required. Therefore, the principals have agreed to focus on improving the quality of our high school students,” he concluded.
