Boosting Competitiveness of Fertiliser Industry, Petrokimia Gresik Focuses on Strategic Projects

Jakarta, Kompas.com — Petrokimia Gresik, an agro-industrial solutions company and member of the Pupuk Indonesia holding, is preparing several strategic projects to strengthen production capacity whilst enhancing the competitiveness of Indonesia’s national fertiliser industry.

Chief Executive Officer of Petrokimia Gresik Daconi Khotob stated that this initiative forms part of the company’s medium and long-term business development strategy.

This effort is also aimed at reinforcing the company’s contribution to supporting national food security.

According to him, the company continues to drive the development of fertiliser product lines as one of its primary priorities. This strategy is considered important to ensure adequate fertiliser supply to support agricultural productivity in Indonesia.

Additionally, Petrokimia Gresik is developing related chemical products aligned with the government’s programme to promote downstream industrialisation.
