Boosting Appeal, Santa Market Revitalised to Rival Blok M
JAKARTA - Perumda Pasar Jaya is revitalising Santa Market at Jalan Cipaku I No. 1, Petogogan, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, to ensure it can continue competing with the always-busy Blok M area in South Jakarta.
Manager of Public Relations for Perumda Pasar Jaya, Topik Hidayatulloh, stated that this revitalisation is expected to become a draw for the public.
“As part of efforts to rebrand and increase the market’s appeal, several crucial infrastructure improvements have been completed,” Topik said in an official statement on Saturday (25/4/2026).
He explained that the crucial infrastructure improvements that have been completed include the following:
- Visual Refresh
Repainting the entire building exterior to give a clean and modern impression.
- Enhancement of Public Facilities
Complete overhaul of the toilet area for greater hygiene, as well as provision of a more representative ATM Centre for easier transactions.
- Interior Comfort
Replacement of ceramic tiles in the market corridors and installation of air conditioning fans in the food court area to ensure better air circulation for visitors.
- Supporting Infrastructure
Concreting (betonisation) of the parking area for smoother mobility, as well as construction of a more organised and environmentally friendly Waste Disposal Site (TPS).
- Aesthetics and Open Space
Creation of a new garden in Lobby 6 area (near the ATM Gallery) as a green space and comfortable waiting area.
