BookCabin Travel Fair 2026 Offers Various Travel Services

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The BookCabin Travel Fair 2026 offers a variety of travel services in one location, ranging from travel packages and flight tickets to accommodation services. The travel exhibition will be held in four cities: Makassar (29–31 May), Jakarta (5–7 June), Surabaya (12–14 June), and Medan (19–21 June).

Speaking at a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday, Danang Mandala Prihantoro, Corporate Communications Strategic for Lion Group and representative of the organisers, stated that the exhibition presents travel services tailored to public needs. Held in collaboration with the travel agency BookCabin, the exhibition offers promotional programmes for both domestic and international travel, as well as various Umrah pilgrimage packages.

The promotional programmes include Flash Sales for Lion Group flight tickets on domestic and international routes at special prices. Additionally, BookCabin is introducing a “Rain of Cashback” programme, providing Cabin Points to customers who transact via the BookCabin application during the exhibition. These Cabin Points can be used to obtain discounts on flight tickets for future purchases.

Visitors to the exhibition can also take advantage of promotions offering free e-SIMs for international flight purchases and specific travel packages, as well as souvenirs and free flight tickets. Furthermore, attendees can find holiday and pilgrimage inspiration through talk shows and direct interaction with travel service providers.

Danang noted that the demand for Umrah pilgrimage services in Indonesia remains high despite challenging economic conditions and the weakening of the Rupiah. “Pilgrimage has become a necessity and an intention of the people that we must accommodate. Therefore, we continue to strengthen our flight networks and connectivity so that pilgrims from various regions can depart more easily,” he said.

“With our Airbus A330-300 and A330-900 Neo fleet, which has a capacity of up to 433 seats per flight, we see significant growth opportunities,” he added. He also stated that Lion Group is coordinating with partners providing Umrah pilgrimage services to ensure the needs of pilgrims are well met.
