The seriousness of the government in realising President Prabowo Subianto’s Priority Programme, particularly in enhancing the quality of human resources through national nutrition fulfilment, continues to be strengthened through concrete steps up to the global level. This is reflected in the international journey of the book Rasa Bhayangkara Nusantara (Taste of Nusantara: 80 Bhayangkara Menu for Indonesia’s Free Nutritious Meals Programme), which now serves as an instrument of Indonesian diplomacy based on culture and policy. On Tuesday, 14 April 2026 Paris time, the Presidential Special Assistant for Communication and Policy Analysis, as well as co-author of the book, Dirgayuza Setiawan, handed over the book to the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to France, Mohamad Oemar, at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Paris. This handover marks the strengthening of Indonesian diplomacy in the European region, while continuing previous achievements in South Korea, the UK, the United States, Japan, and many other countries. Deputy Chief of National Police Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo specifically expressed appreciation to Dirgayuza Setiawan as the co-author of the book Rasa Bhayangkara Nusantara, which was written together with the Deputy Chief of National Police. “We appreciate Mr Dirgayuza Setiawan as the co-author of the book Rasa Bhayangkara Nusantara that we wrote together, which not only presents ideas in the form of works but also actively accompanies the dissemination of Indonesia’s message to the international world. This is a real collaboration that strengthens Indonesian diplomacy through a cultural and policy approach,” said Dedi. According to Dedi, this collaboration becomes a strategic force in conveying national policies through a more universal approach that is easily accepted by global society. Dedi also recalled the visit of the French Embassy Delegation along with the National Nutrition Agency Expert Team to the Police Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) in Pejaten, South Jakarta, on 18 December 2025. That visit appreciated the strict food safety standards, the use of local food ingredients, and the efficiency of the kitchen system. “This shows that the nutrition fulfilment programme we are running has received attention and become an international reference,” he stated. Furthermore, the former Head of Police Public Relations Division emphasised that France has a long experience in managing nutritious meals through the La Cantine Scolaire programme.
