Bontang Mayor Neni Presents Indonesian President's Sacrificial Cow to Local Community

Bontang Mayor Neni Moerniaeni delivered a sacrificial cow from Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at Al Hijrah Grand Mosque on Tuesday (26 May). The 732-kilogram donation was accompanied by Bontang DKP3 Head Achmad Aznem and received by the mosque’s sacrificial committee representative Muhammad Sidin.

During the event, Neni expressed gratitude for the Indonesian President’s attention to Bontang’s community through this social assistance. “Alhamdulillah, we have received social assistance from Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, in the form of a 732-kilogram cow,” she said.

She viewed the sacrificial animal donation as a demonstration of central government concern for local communities ahead of the 1447 Hijriah Iduladha celebration. Neni also thanked President Prabowo for the donation, stating it was hoped to bring joy and benefit to recipients during this year’s Iduladha. “May this assistance bring joy to beneficiaries on the day of Iduladha tomorrow,” she added.

Meanwhile, the Al Hijrah Grand Mosque’s sacrificial committee welcomed the cow donation and confirmed the meat would be distributed to eligible recipients.
