Boney M to visit Bali

KUTA, Bali: Amid frequent cancellations of concerts by international performing artists in Indonesia, top Jamaican music group Boney M will visit Bali on Dec. 28 to entertain its fans.

Event organizer spokeswoman Grace Jeanie said on Saturday that the group would celebrate the New Year in Jakarta.

The group's songs included Rivers of Babylon and Brown Girl in the Rain, which were famous in the 1970s.

She said Boney M's concert will be themed Indonesia Peace and Thanks Giving. Tickets are priced at between Rp 200,000 (US$23) and Rp 500,000. --Antara
