Bone Bolango Government Holds Prayer Gathering to Honour the Late Rachmat Gobel

The Bone Bolango Regency Government in Gorontalo Province held a yasinan recitation, dhikr, and joint prayer on the seventh day following the passing of Gorontalo electoral district House of Representatives member Rachmat Gobel. The event took place at the Lake Perintis area in Bone Bolango on Friday.

Bone Bolango Regent Ismet Mile stated that the gathering was a form of respect for the dedication of the late Mr Gobel, who contributed to the development of Gorontalo, particularly in Bone Bolango Regency, throughout his life. “Tonight, the entire Bone Bolango Regency Government is commemorating the seventh day of the late Rachmat Gobel’s passing as a form of appreciation for his services to the region,” Ismet said.

He explained that Lake Perintis was chosen as the location for the joint prayer because the tourism area was one of the development projects that received the late Mr Gobel’s attention and support. According to Ismet, during his lifetime, Rachmat Gobel played a role in encouraging infrastructure development, community economic development, and improving the quality of human resources in Bone Bolango. Furthermore, the late Mr Gobel also provided support to micro, small, and medium enterprises and paid attention to the education sector.

Ismet said these various contributions were the reason the regional government and the community paid their respects through the yasinan recitation, dhikr, and joint prayer. He expressed hope that the entire community would continue to pray for the deceased so that all his acts of worship would be accepted and he would be granted the best place in the sight of Allah SWT. “We invite the entire community to continue sending prayers for the deceased. May Allah make his grave spacious and grant him the best place at His side,” Ismet said.
