COLOMBO (Reuter): A bomb exploded on a parked bus during rush-
hour at Colombo's main Pettah bus station yesterday, injuring
three people, police said.
"The bomb was placed in a bus which was parked at the bus
stand and it exploded. Three people were wounded," a police
officer said.
The area was crowded with people going home, he said. He had
no further details.
On Monday, suspected Tamil rebels, fighting for their own
homeland in the north and east, set off a car bomb at Colombo's
