Indonesia is increasingly being selected as a production base to meet overseas market demands, as global companies seek manufacturing locations that are both competitive and possess adequate production capacity. One company taking this step is BOLDe, Inc., the owner of the US-based household brand BOLDe, which is now producing several of its products in Indonesia for distribution to US consumers.

BOLDe products manufactured in Indonesia are currently marketed in the US via Amazon, TikTok Shop US, and the company’s official website. The company is targeting annual sales growth of approximately 50 per cent by strengthening its domestic market while simultaneously expanding international sales.

President of BOLDe, Inc., Brandon Bleach, stated that Indonesia was chosen as a production base because its workforce and manufacturing capacity are deemed capable of supporting the company’s needs to develop products for the global market.

“We chose Indonesia because we believe in the capability of its workforce, its industrial potential, and the spirit of its people to continue to grow,” Brandon said in a statement on Tuesday (1/9/2026).

Several products manufactured in Indonesia and marketed to the US include the Thunder Mop and Ultra Gran. After strengthening its position in the US market, BOLDe plans to gradually expand its marketing to Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

This expansion presents an opportunity for Indonesian production bases to integrate further into the global supply chain. BOLDe noted that its activities in Indonesia encompass material processing, assembly, quality inspection, packaging, as well as warehouse management and distribution.

The targeted market potential is further supported by the growth of e-commerce in the US. According to data from the U.S. Census Bureau, US e-commerce retail sales in the second quarter of 202<0xC2>6 reached $340.2 billion, an increase of 12.2 per cent compared to the same period the previous year. This value is equivalent to 17.1 per cent of total US retail sales.

Brandon added that the company will enhance the quality and innovation of products manufactured in Indonesia in line with its market expansion plans. This move serves as an effort to expand the sale of Indonesian-made products to international markets.
