'BOLA', Hilton reach quarters

JAKARTA (JP): BOLA sports tabloid and Hilton Hotel managed to
reach the quarterfinals of The Jakarta Post 18th anniversary
soccer tournament after passing their first finals tests on
Tuesday.

BOLA had a walkover win thanks to opponent BII Bank, which
failed to show up at the ABC field at Bung Karno Sports Complex
in Senayan.

Meanwhile, Hilton eliminated Bisnis Indonesia 2-0 in the
second match played.

The tournament is being staged in conjunction with the Post's
anniversary, which falls on Wednesday. (yan)
