Bojan Hodak Meets Persib President Glenn Sugita to Discuss Contract

Bandung, KOMPAS.com - Coach Bojan Hodak is scheduled to meet club president Glenn Sugita following Persib Bandung’s championship celebration on Sunday (24 May 2026). Also present will be PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat (PBB) advisor Stanley Bernard. The trio’s meeting is expected to discuss Hodak’s contract with Persib. Hodak confirmed the meeting. ‘We will celebrate, then I will meet with Mr Glenn and Stanley,’ Hodak said. On Monday (25 May 2026), Hodak will visit Umuh Muchtar’s residence and have dinner before taking a long break at the end of the season. ‘We will be at Haji Umuh’s house in the morning and have dinner with the team in the evening. Then we’ll go on leave,’ Hodak explained. The issue revolves around training facilities needed for the team to train optimally and achieve success in future seasons. ‘They’re okay, Mr Glenn offered me a good deal, but there are other aspects of my life to consider,’ Hodak said. ‘So I’m still discussing it with him and hope everything will work out in the end,’ he added. Training facilities are essential for any coach, but Adhitia stressed that Persib is moving towards having excellent training facilities. ‘Bojan has specific requests, but we believe he understands that football in Southeast Asia is like this. If he moves to any club in Southeast Asia, it’s either JDT (Johor Darul Ta’zim), that’s the reality,’ Adhitia said. ‘We’re working on something new, sorting things out with the city government for land acquisition, which takes time,’ Adhitia explained. ‘Can we rush it? Yes, but it won’t be long-term. It needs to be proper, with proper administration. We follow the rules because we have a 30-year plan, not just for next year,’ he added.
