Bogor's Trans Pakuan Non-Subsidised Fare Set Around Rp6,000–Rp7,000

The non-subsidised fare for Trans Pakuan bus services is estimated to be around Rp6,000 to Rp7,000 per journey. Bogor Mayor Dedie A. Rachim stated at Bogor City Hall that the proposed fare is still under discussion. “We are discussing the willingness to pay and what the fare should be. The fare remains affordable, between Rp6,000 and Rp7,000,” Dedie said on Wednesday (8/7). The non-subsidised fare is being prepared for the operation of two Trans Pakuan corridors, which will run independently without government subsidy. Four other corridors will continue to receive subsidies, maintaining a fare of approximately Rp4,000 per journey. Dedie noted that operating all six Trans Pakuan corridors requires a fleet of 68 buses. The Bogor city government currently has 49 units, leaving a shortfall of 19 buses. The procurement of the additional fleet is being finalised, including through an auction scheme. “I have requested that there be no gap in 2027. If possible, the auction should be conducted at the end of the year so that the buses can operate starting 1 January,” he said.
