Bogor Station Records 149,000 KRL Passengers on H+2 Lebaran
Around 149,000 people were recorded using KRL at Bogor Station in West Java. This figure represents the accumulation of those entering and exiting the station.
“On Monday, 23 March 2026, the total was 149,305. With 75,956 gate ins and 73,349 gate outs,” said the Head of Bogor Station, Mardiono, on Tuesday (24/3/2026).
The increase in KRL passengers at the station began since Eid al-Fitr or last Saturday (21/3). On Lebaran day, 80,520 KRL passengers were recorded.
“37,614 gate ins and 42,906 gate outs,” he explained.
On H+1 Lebaran, the increase surged. The total KRL passengers at the station reached 136,107. With details of 66,174 gate ins and 69,933 gate outs.
Today, KRL passengers have reached 75,401 up to 4:00 PM WIB earlier this afternoon. The majority of passengers passing through Bogor Station are tourists.
“That’s correct (aimed at tourism),” he stated.
Due to the surge in passengers, the station authorities then added personnel for security. Personnel were deployed from joint agencies.
“Additional Polri personnel 4, TNI 4, security 10, and cleaning staff 6,” he concluded.
