Starting today, Wednesday (15/7/2026), the new platforms have been operated by KAI Operational Area 1 Jakarta together with KAI Commuter to serve Commuter Line journeys. The extension work on platforms 6, 7, and 8 at Bogor Station has officially been completed. KAI Commuter has ensured that all stages of inspection and technical testing of the tracks and safety aspects were carried out before the platforms became operational. With the functioning of these new platforms, all lines at Bogor Station are now capable of serving Commuter Line trains with a 12-carriage formation, known as SF12. Currently, the Bogor line serves 392 Commuter Line trips every day. A total of 328 trips terminate at Bogor Station, whilst the remaining 64 trips serve routes to Depok and Nambo. The first journey on the Bogor line commences at 04:03 Western Indonesia Time, with the last arrival recorded at 01:15 Western Indonesia Time. Operations on this line are supported by five CLI-125 and CLI-225 series trains in SF12 formation, alongside a combination of SF10 and SF8 formations that remain in service. Throughout the first semester of this year, the volume of Commuter Line users on the Bogor line reached 78.07 million people, averaging around 431,000 passengers daily. This figure makes the Bogor line the Commuter Line route with the highest passenger mobility in the Greater Jakarta area.
