Bogor Residents Can Store Motorcycles Free of Charge at Military District Command Offices During Eid Holiday Travel

Bogor residents heading home for Eid celebrations can park their motorcycles at the Military District Command (Kodim) headquarters or their nearest neighbourhood military command post (Koramil) free of charge.

Kodim 0606 Bogor City Commander Colonel Gan Gan Rusgandara stated that the vehicle parking facility has been established to assist residents who will be away from home for an extended period during the Eid holiday travel season.

“The service is spread across six sub-districts at various Koramil offices. Please bring your identity card and vehicle registration documents when dropping off your motorcycle. When you return, also bring your registration documents and identity card to ensure there is no mix-up,” Gan Gan explained when met in Central Bogor on Wednesday (11 March 2026).

“For residents who are concerned about leaving their motorcycles at home, please feel free to store them at the Kodim or Koramil offices. The service is available from the start of the joint holiday period or even from now, and it is completely free,” he added.

Residents can also park their motorcycles at nearby police stations, including Bogor City Police Headquarters and local police sub-stations.

Like the military facilities, residents wishing to store vehicles at police stations must present their vehicle registration documents and identity card as administrative requirements. The vehicle parking service at police stations is also free of charge.
