Bogor Police have opened a free vehicle storage service for residents planning to travel during the Eid 2026 holiday period.

The service is provided at all 32 police sub-stations (Polsek) across the jurisdiction, serving 40 sub-districts throughout Bogor Regency.

Bogor Police Commander AKBP Wikha Ardilestanto stated that the service was established to assist residents leaving their homes for an extended period during the Eid holiday break.

He explained that residents can deposit their vehicles at either the main Bogor Police Headquarters (Mapolres) or at the nearest police sub-station within Bogor Regency.

According to the commander, this programme forms part of the police’s broader effort to provide a sense of security to residents during the Eid holiday travel period.

To utilise the service, residents are required to bring photocopies of the vehicle owner’s identity card (KTP) and either a photocopy of the vehicle registration certificate (STNK) or the vehicle registration book (BPKB).

Bogor Police encouraged residents to make use of this facility to ensure their vehicles remain secure whilst their homes are left unoccupied during the Eid holiday period.

The service was established to provide peace of mind for residents concerned about leaving their vehicles at home during the extended Eid travel period.
