Bogor Residents Can Deposit Vehicles at Nearest Police Station During Mudik Holiday
BOGOR — Bogor City residents travelling to their hometowns can deposit their personal vehicles at the nearest police station, including both district-level and Bogor City Police headquarters.
This arrangement aims to ensure vehicle security whilst owners are away during the holiday period.
“We have prepared everything for residents who wish to deposit their vehicles at police stations, at both the police headquarters and each district station,” said Bogor City Police Commander Kombes Pol Rio Wahyu Anggoro during a meeting at Bogor City Hall on Sunday (8 March 2026).
Furthermore, Rio stated that police will conduct regular patrols to maintain security for residents’ homes during the Lebaran holiday break. According to him, police will patrol approximately every 30 minutes to ensure public safety and order.
“We will conduct continuous patrols, perhaps every 30 minutes so that residents who are leaving feel their homes are secure,” he explained.
Rio also urged Bogor City residents planning to travel home to prepare themselves adequately. Those returning to their villages using personal vehicles were also advised to properly service and prepare their vehicles.
“Homes that are left behind will be safe and vehicles deposited with us will also be properly secured,” he said.
