Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto has led the Bogor Regency Government, West Java, to retain an Unqualified Opinion from the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK) for its Local Government Financial Report for the 2025 Fiscal Year. In a statement in Bogor on Wednesday, Rudy said the achievement marks the second WTP opinion won by the Bogor Regency Government under the leadership of Rudy Susmanto and Deputy Regent Ade Ruhandi, after successfully restoring the WTP predicate for the 2024 Fiscal Year report following four consecutive years of receiving a Qualified Opinion. The WTP opinion was received by Rudy Susmanto during the submission of the Audit Result Report at the BPK Representative Office in West Java, Bandung, on Wednesday afternoon. Rudy stated that obtaining the WTP opinion is the result of the work of all levels of the Bogor Regency Government in realising accountable and transparent financial management. ‘Alhamdulillah, the Bogor Regency Government has again received an Unqualified Opinion from the BPK. However, this achievement must be a momentum for us to continue reforming and making improvements in various sectors,’ said Rudy. According to him, the WTP opinion is not the ultimate goal in governance, but rather serves as evaluation material to improve the quality of governance and services to the community. He emphasised that all regional apparatus must continue to strengthen good governance, improve the quality of public services, and ensure that every development programme provides tangible benefits to the community. ‘Bogor must continue to step forward to become better. Most importantly, all levels of government must increasingly care for and love the people of Bogor Regency by providing the best service,’ he said. Rudy also requested that all regional government officials work professionally, transparently, and responsibly in managing the regional budget so that public trust in the government continues to increase. Furthermore, the Bogor Regency Government is committed to following up on all recommendations provided by the BPK as part of efforts to perfect governance and regional financial management.
