Bogor Regent Partners with Environmental Activists for Regional Development
The Regent of Bogor, Rudy Susmanto, is positioning environmental activists as partners in regional development to realise a clean and sustainable Bogor Regency, West Java. Speaking in Cibinong on Tuesday, Rudy stated that the success of environmental preservation requires the involvement of all elements of society.
According to the Regent, efforts to maintain environmental sustainability cannot be undertaken by the government alone; instead, they require collaboration with communities and citizens who have been actively engaged in various conservation actions. “A clean and sustainable environment can only be achieved through collective awareness and action. Therefore, synergy between the government and the community is key to ensuring environmental sustainability for future generations,” Rudy said.
He assessed that environmental activists play a strategic role in educating the public and driving various activities that support the creation of a clean and healthy environment. Consequently, the Bogor Regency Government is committed to strengthening collaboration with various environmental communities as part of its efforts to support sustainable regional development.
Rudy also expressed his appreciation to environmental activists who have consistently provided education and taken real action to preserve the environment across various areas of Bogor Regency. “Thank you to the environmental activists who continue to inspire and drive real action to maintain environmental sustainability. The spirit and dedication shown serve as positive energy in building a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable Bogor Regency,” he added.
