Bogor Regent Appreciates Central Government Support, Says Presidential Instruction on Regional Roads Strengthens Connectivity and Economy

The Regent of Bogor, Rudy Susmanto, accompanied the Governor of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi, via an online platform during the inauguration of the 2025 Regional Road Presidential Instruction (Inpres Jalan Daerah) implementation. The event, held alongside the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, and the Minister of Public Works, took place at Lembur Pakuan on Tuesday, 23 June 2026.

During the event, the Regent of Bogor expressed his gratitude for the Central Government’s support for infrastructure development in Bogor Regency through the Regional Road Presidential Instruction (IJD) programme. The specific road segment currently being prioritised for handling is the Citeureup–Sukamakmur road, which is presently in the implementation phase for the 2025 fiscal year.

“In addition, the Sukamakmur–Sukawangi, Pasir Ipis–Garebong, and Pasir Ipis–Garehong road segments have been completed and can now be utilised by the community,” said Rudy Susmanto.

According to him, the construction and quality improvement of these roads represent a strategic step in strengthening inter-regional connectivity, smoothing public mobility, and driving regional economic growth.

“Our thanks go to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr Prabowo Subianto, as well as the Ministry of Public Works, for their attention and support towards infrastructure development in Bogor Regency,” he added.

With this support, Rudy hopes that collaboration between the Central Government, Provincial Government, and Regency Government will continue to flourish to achieve equitable development and improve public welfare, particularly in Bogor Regency.
