Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto has praised the implementation of TMMD (TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa) 128 in Cigudeg District, Bogor Regency. The initiative completed a range of village infrastructure works, including a 5.2-kilometre road.

The regent expressed thanks to the Indonesian Army (TNI Angkatan Darat), in particular Korem 061/Suryakancana and Kodim 0621 Bogor Regency, for contributing to accelerated development in Bogor. “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the TNI AD, especially Korem 061/Suryakancana and Kodim 0621 Bogor Regency. The local government cannot reach all remote areas quickly without good collaboration,” Rudy said.

The collaboration program between the Indonesian Army and Bogor Regency Government was officially closed on Thursday, 21 May 2026. All physical and non-physical targets were realised and are beginning to benefit the community.

In addition to the road, TMMD also built five homes previously unfit for habitation, five MCK units (toilets/washrooms), five clean water channels, and rehabilitated one prayer hall (mushola). There was also the planting of hardwood trees along the road and a one-hectare food security initiative.

TMMD-128 also included several non-physical developments, such as health outreach at Posyandu, national consciousness, guidance on online gambling hazards, and disaster mitigation. According to Rudy, the TMMD programme is tangible evidence of collaboration between local government, the military, and communities in building villages and improving residents’ welfare.

“Through the TMMD programme and community service, we will continue to optimise development in Bogor Regency. We want infrastructure services to reach to the farthest corners of Bogor,” he said.

He added that village development is not only about infrastructure but also enhancing human resources through education and outreach to communities. “Various educational efforts, including campaigns against drugs and online gambling, are crucial in building society,” he said.

Meanwhile, Dandim 0621 Bogor Rizal Dwijayanto explained that road construction was one of the main targets of TMMD-128, driven by findings of damaged roads that had not been fully usable by residents.

“In this TMMD, we have built a 5.2-kilometre road at a width of 3 metres. In addition, we built five houses unfit for habitation, five MCK units, five clean-water channels, rehabilitated one mushola, planted hardwood trees along the route, and carried out a one-hectare food-security activity,” Rizal said at the closing ceremony.

He added that before TMMD, the road condition was quite concerning, hindering daily activities. “Previously, the road could not be used optimally by the community. Besides the uneven terrain, the road condition was damaged, making daily education and economic activities difficult,” he said.
