Bogor Regency's Tenjo and Cigombong Districts Yet to Implement WFH Last Friday
The Bogor Regency government implemented a Work From Home (WFH) policy for civil servants (ASN) last Friday. The policy was introduced to encourage energy efficiency.
Bogor Regency’s Regional Secretary, Ajat Rochmat Jatnika, stated that the implementation of the first WFH day went well. Around 2,130 ASN participated in WFH.
“This week, we carried out Work From Home for the first time on Friday. From the available data, around 2,130 ASN, or approximately 10 percent, carried out WFH,” said Ajat on Saturday (11/4/2026).
According to him, the WFH implementation was not carried out fully. There were still several units that continued to work from the office at 100 percent. In particular, units involved in service sectors.
“There are two districts that did not implement WFH, namely Tenjo District and Cigombong District. In addition, essential services such as hospitals, BPBD, fire department, and Satpol PP remained fully present,” he explained.
Before WFH was implemented, he said that all regional devices had been asked to prepare daily work plans. Thus, productivity remained maintained.
“Every employee has already submitted a work plan from morning to evening. I monitored it directly; government activities did not stop. Even when needed, ASN are ready to be present,” he stated.
In the future, an evaluation of the WFH policy will also be carried out. Especially regarding the effectiveness of energy efficiency.
“We will evaluate its impact on the efficiency of BBM, electricity, and other energy usage. The hope is that this becomes a new habit and fosters a culture of energy saving, not only in the office but also in the family environment of ASN,” he concluded.
