Bogor Regency Government ASN Position Trading Case Elevated to Investigation

The case of alleged buying and selling of civil servant (ASN) positions within the Bogor Regency Government has been elevated to the investigation stage. Bogor Resort Police investigators are gathering evidence and examining witnesses.

“After a series of inquiries conducted by our team, and following a case review of the results, we have found an alleged criminal act,” said Bogor Resort Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKP Anggi Eko Prasetyo to reporters on Saturday (27/6/2026).

According to him, the criminal elements in the case have been met, prompting his party to upgrade the status from inquiry to investigation.

“In line with that, some time ago, because our handling of the matter has now been upgraded to the investigation stage from the previous inquiry,” he explained.

His party has also issued a notification letter to the prosecutor’s office that the investigation has commenced. However, Anggi has not yet detailed whether there are any suspects in the case.

“Up to this point, as we have conveyed, through the inquiry we obtained facts, so based on that work yesterday we upgraded it to the investigation stage,” he stated.

Based on the case review, it was found that the case falls under the category of a corruption offence with a modus operandi of receiving gratuities.

“The results of our inquiry concluded in the case review that the alleged offence is Article 12B in conjunction with Article 12E of the Corruption Eradication Law,” he concluded.
