Bogor Regency Builds First Creative Hub in Former Cibinong Arts Building

Bogor Regency (ANTARA) - The Bogor Regency Government in West Java is building the region’s first creative industry hub (creative hub) by utilising the former arts building in the Jalan Tegar Beriman area of Cibinong.

Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto, speaking in Cibinong on Thursday (9/7), said construction of the creative hub, named the Siliwangi Center, is targeted for completion in December 2026.

“The creative hub, which will also serve as a theatre performance venue, has gone through the contract signing stage and is targeted for completion in December 2026,” said Rudy.

The creative hub will also be equipped with a theatre performance space to support arts activities and the creative industries in Bogor Regency.

According to the construction requirements identification document from the Bogor Regency Tourism and Creative Economy Office, building the Siliwangi Center Creative Hub is estimated to cost Rp29.47 billion.

The building is designed as a centre for collaboration, education, and creative economy development for creative industry players, artists, and communities.

The construction is intended to provide a representative creative hub infrastructure capable of supporting activities across various creative economy subsectors in Bogor Regency.

The creative hub will be the first facility of its kind owned by Bogor Regency and is expected to be ready for use from 2027, following the first handover of the works, or provisional hand over (PHO), at the end of 2026.
