The budget specifically for mining remains allocated at Rp 100 billion. Indeed, today involves the appraisal process,” said the Secretary of Bogor Regency, Ajat Rochmat Jatnika, to reporters on Wednesday (6/5/2026).

The mapping is conducted so that the government can later determine which lands need to be acquired and which do not. As well as which lands can be donated by mine owners in the areas traversed.

“From there, it will be clear which ones we truly must acquire, for example, areas where lands might be donated by the landowners, related to, say, passing through their quarry areas,” he stated.

The budget for the route’s construction remains at Rp 100 billion. With the mapping, the required costs can then be reviewed again.

“It will become clear whether the implementation can be reduced, or if the Rp 100 billion is fully used for land acquisition. But clearly, the Regent wants this year to truly focus on land acquisition,” he added.

Land Acquisition Targeted for Completion This Year

Previously, Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto revealed the target for constructing a special mining vehicle route in western Bogor. He stated that land acquisition is targeted to be completed this year.

“Our target is for land acquisition payments to be 100 percent completed by 2026. Thus, the construction stages can be promptly implemented,” said Rudy on Monday (4/5).

He mentioned that the route’s location has been determined and submitted to the West Java Provincial Government (Pemprov Jabar). After the location is set and approved by the provincial government, they will conduct the assessment.

“This is one of the solutions, one of the policies we have taken together, the Bogor Regency Government with the Bogor Regency DPRD, to find a middle ground so that when mining operations resume, they do not disturb other road users,” he explained.

Because, he said, Bogor Regency has diverse characteristics, both in regional topography and community conditions.

“There is agriculture, there is mining, there is tourism, there is commerce. Of course, to develop Bogor, we need support from all parties,” he stated.
