This serves as new energy to strengthen synergy in regional development and service to the nation and state. Bogor Regency (ANTARA) - The Bogor Regency Government in West Java has become a reference for the LXVII Regular Education Officer Students (Dikreg) at Seskoad in studying disaster mitigation and management. Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto, along with the local Forkopimda, received a visit from the Dikreg LXVII Seskoad students for the 2026 Academic Year in Cibinong on Monday. Rudy stated that the visit represents a strategic momentum to strengthen synergy between local government and the TNI and Police, particularly in facing disaster challenges in the region. “This becomes new energy to strengthen synergy in building the region and serving the nation and state,” he said. According to Rudy, throughout 2025, Bogor Regency experienced 1,826 disaster incidents, all of which were handled through cross-sector coordination. “Our disaster management prioritises speed and coordination. Evacuation tents are only temporary; subsequently, the community is facilitated with decent temporary housing,” he said. In addition to handling, the Bogor Regency Government also promotes mitigation efforts through infrastructure development based on collaboration with the TNI, such as access roads in remote areas that function as evacuation routes while supporting the local economy. Rudy emphasised the importance of cross-sector collaboration in building a resilient, inclusive, and competitive region. Meanwhile, a Seskoad representative explained that the Regional Defence Field Work Lecture (KKL Wilhan) activity takes place from 6 to 9 April 2026 in the Kodam III/Siliwangi area. The activity carries the theme of synergy among national components in disaster management to strengthen national resilience. KKL Wilhan is an important part of the officer students’ learning to enhance insight and analytical capabilities regarding regional dynamics, including the implementation of territorial development in the national defence system.
