Bogor Regency abolishes PBB-P2 fines for Independence Day
The Bogor Regency Government, West Java, is providing relief in the form of a waiver of fines on Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) up to the 2025 tax year to commemorate the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto stated that the programme will run from 14 to 21 August 2026. “In the context of celebrating the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, the Bogor Regency Government is presenting a PBB-P2 relaxation programme as a gift for the 81st Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia,” said Rudy. Under the programme, taxpayers only need to pay the principal PBB-P2 amount, as fines on tax obligations up to the 2025 tax year are abolished. “Just pay the principal, because the fines up to the 2025 tax year are waived,” he said. Rudy urged residents of Bogor Regency who still have outstanding PBB-P2 obligations to take advantage of the relaxation period before it ends on 21 August 2026. He noted that the programme provides an opportunity for the public to settle their tax obligations without having to pay fines that previously accrued due to late payment. “I invite all residents of Bogor Regency to make use of this programme. Do not miss it, from 14 August 2026 to 21 August 2026,” said Rudy. He also encouraged the public to visit the nearest tax service office to utilise the programme during the specified period. The PBB-P2 relaxation programme is part of the Bogor Regency Government’s policy to enliven the 81st Independence Day celebrations while providing convenience for the community in fulfilling their local tax obligations.
