Bogor Police Transform Integrated Post with Middle Eastern Theme to Serve Travellers
Bogor Police have introduced a unique public service innovation during the execution of Operation Ketupat Lodaya 2026. Bogor Police have transformed the Gadog Integrated Post with a visual theme of “Middle Eastern Aladdin”.
In a written statement on Friday, 13 March 2026, Bogor Police Chief AKBP Wikha Ardilestanto said this innovation aims to provide a different experience for holiday travellers and tourists so they do not feel bored whilst travelling through the Puncak route in Bogor Regency, West Java.
AKBP Wikha stated that in addition to aesthetics, the Gadog “Aladdin” Integrated Post functions as a command centre for C3I (Control, Coordination, Communication, and Information) supported by combined personnel. The post has complete facilities, including:
Relaxation area and cafeteria: A place for drivers to rest and avoid fatigue whilst driving.
Family-friendly: A dedicated children’s play area to keep children cheerful during the journey.
Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station (SKLU) to serve those using electric vehicles.
Prayer facilities and sanitation: A mosque and clean toilets ready to accommodate the spiritual and hygiene needs of travellers.
Health services and complaint desk: A health post and complaint service counter ready to assist those needing immediate police assistance.
AKBP Wikha stated that a total of 331 police personnel have been stationed at the Gadog Integrated Post, consisting of 181 Bogor Police personnel and support from the National Police Headquarters in the form of 50 Sabhara personnel and 100 Brimob personnel.
He said this unique concept was deliberately chosen to dispel the rigid impression of a police post, whilst also demonstrating Bogor Police’s commitment to quality service in managing the Eid holiday exodus and return journey in 2026, which officially began on 13 March 2026.
“We want the Integrated Post to not only be a surveillance location, but also to be an oasis for those passing through. With complete facilities and this Aladdin theme, we hope our service feels closer and more comfortable for residents,” AKBP Wikha said.
He urged the public not to hesitate to utilise the facilities at the Gadog Integrated Post to ensure their physical condition remains optimal before continuing their journey along the Puncak route.
