Bogor Regency (ANTARA) - The Traffic Unit (Satlantas) of the Bogor Regency Police has provided health facilities for holiday travellers at the Gadog Integrated Post in the Puncak area, Bogor Regency, West Java, to ensure that drivers remain in prime condition during their journeys. This service is part of efforts to deliver maximum assistance to the public during the mudik rush, particularly on the Puncak route, which is known for its high density and challenging terrain. The Head of the Traffic Unit of the Bogor Regency Police, Iptu Afif Widhi Ananto, at the Gadog Integrated Post in Ciawi on Thursday, stated that these health facilities are prepared to assist holiday travellers experiencing fatigue or minor health issues during their trips. “We are providing health services at the Gadog Integrated Post as a form of service to the public, so that holiday travellers remain healthy and their journeys proceed safely,” said Iptu Afif. In addition, health personnel are on standby 24 hours a day to provide prompt handling if any holiday travellers require medical assistance. Iptu Afif added that the presence of these facilities is crucial given the frequent increase in vehicle volume on the Puncak route, especially during peak mudik periods and long holidays. He urged holiday travellers not to force themselves to continue their journeys if feeling tired and to utilise the facilities provided at the Gadog Integrated Post. “Please make use of the available services, whether for resting or checking your health, for everyone’s safety on the road,” he said. Besides health services, the Gadog Integrated Post is also equipped with various supporting facilities such as traffic information, security, and emergency assistance for the public.
