Bogor Police Complete Construction of 13 Units under ASRI Housing Programme
Bogor Regency (ANTARA) - The Bogor District Police have completed the construction of 13 habitable homes for underprivileged residents through the ASRI (Safe, Healthy, Neat, Beautiful) housing programme in various areas of Bogor Regency, West Java.
Bogor Police Chief AKBP Wikha Ardilestanto stated in Bogor on Thursday that all targets for the initial phase of the ASRI housing programme have been completed and handed over to the beneficiary community.
“Alhamdulillah, we have handed over the last three units. Thus, the total of 13 ASRI houses that we targeted have all been built and handed over to the beneficiary residents,” said Wikha.
The handover of the last three units was conducted in a marathon on Wednesday (13/5) in Bojong Murni Village, Ciawi Sub-district, then continued to Pabuaran Village, Kemang Sub-district, and ended in Iwul Village, Parung Sub-district.
Wikha explained that the ASRI housing programme is a form of support from the Bogor District Police for President Prabowo Subianto’s vision in providing decent housing for underprivileged communities.
He emphasised that the achievement of building 13 houses is not the end of the humanitarian programme run by the Bogor District Police.
“However, this is not the final result; this is only the first phase as part of the activities during last Ramadan,” he said.
According to him, all house constructions were funded through the internal “Good Police of Bogor Police” programme, targeting residents’ homes in pitiful conditions to be rebuilt into dwellings that meet health and safety standards.
The programme prioritises ASRI standards, namely safe with sturdy building construction, healthy through good ventilation and sanitation, neat in spatial arrangement, and beautiful in terms of building aesthetics.
“This is part of our commitment to carrying out the President’s instructions. We want to ensure that the presence of the National Police is not only in terms of security but also becomes a real solution to the economic difficulties of the community,” said Wikha.
In addition to handing over house keys, the Bogor District Police personnel also provided aid to the beneficiary families. The aid recipients appeared moved and expressed appreciation for the police’s concern.
Wikha said the ASRI housing programme will continue in the next phase, planned to start running in June 2026 coinciding with the Bhayangkara Day series.
“My target is for this programme to reach 38 sub-districts throughout Bogor Regency. Currently, the team is calculating and remapping how many houses we can target for the next phase,” he said.
He mentioned that the programme will later be expanded with support from 32 police stations under the Bogor District Police so that its benefits can be felt by the community throughout the police jurisdiction.
“The handover of the 13th key does not mean our task is finished. This is not the peak of the activity, but the beginning of a larger movement,” said Wikha.
The success of the ASRI housing programme adds to the achievements of the Bogor District Police after previously winning the Second Place award for the Best Integrated Poskam in West Java during the Ketupat Lodaya Operation 2026 with a score of 93.
